They have good food and the service is always fantastic! Parking is not great and sometimes it hard to find a spot or hard to get into a spot.

My first time visiting Max's. Generally when I pass this location, the parking lot is full. I got to the counter at 7:50pm, was planning to go somewhere else once I realized they closed at 8pm. I could see employees cleaning around the kitchen and dining areas. The owner, working in the kitchen, over heard my conversation at the counter, and insisted that I order. So I did, and went with the spaghetti special ($10.99). As I waited for my "to-go" order, I noticed the dining area was very clean and brightly lit. I received my order by 8pm and was out the door. I will return to try other dishes. My carry out container was heavy for spaghetti . Came with side salad & 2 pieces of Texas toast.

Great service, good prices and serving sizes. Got to get the okra. Best I've had. Parking sucks, but worth the effort to get to eat here.

Amazing food. I had the catfish and also shrimp it was so good. I took my grandson back next day and burger was great, just as ordered. Service is exceptional, never had to ask for anything. The restaurant itself was friendly and clean an family type atmosphere.

This place was formerly Captain's Table Thomasville. Decided on lunch here but some of the others more familiar, said that their breakfast is really good too. I chose a 4 side item plate with green beans, okra, pintos and fries. Those pintos were the best I've tasted in a long time. I didn't have to pick out pieces of meat the entire time either. The fries looked like they were double fried and were nice and crisp as was the okra-piping hot! The cornbread was good too! The ladies were really nice and were hardworking on the go constantly. So when a stranger paid for my lunch, I just had to pay it forward to the waitress. I'll be back to try the breakfast soon.

We decided to grab dinner here last minute. Nice, clean local "dive" that seems kinda like a hole in the wall. We were actually surprised, the place was full of people with a few waiting to sit down. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. I ordered a vegetable plate and my husband ordered the bacon and cheese omelette, as they serve breakfast all day. Great prices. We'd definitely go back.

Great food and service! The prices are great. Glad to have a new family restaurant in Thomasville.

I have eaten there several times now and I have enjoyed each time. Breakfast all the way to dinner, has been great. Friendly wait staff and you can seat yourself which is a huge plus for me.

I hope this place doesn't change. They have been open only 6 days but it is done in excellence. The food, which I have pictured 5 different plates were all fixed to perfection. The omelettes were the best I've ever had and I've had a lot. The only miss was my 7 year old was still hungry after his kids plate. 3 pieces of chicken would have been better but that could be just my son so I didn't take anything off for that. As I said it's new so the decor was nice. The floor looked slick and it was raining so I was concerned but it was just the look and wasn't slick at all. It's a beautiful place and they have the tables spaced far enough apart that it's not crowded. The service was great and the staff seemed to stay busy with no standing around. This is the way it ought to be everywhere. They seem to be too notched all the around and as I started this review, I hope they don't change. Yes, I recommend Max's!
